I have a dream...

Post Edit on November 18:
The winners are....numbers 8, 9. 11, and 14. That's Mom of 2, Katie, Gigi, and Nancy. Email me your addresses (prudencepenny@aol.com) and I'll send you a coupon for a free pound of sausages! Congrats!
I'm getting ready to share my roll tutorial tomorrow. I'll be sharing step by step photos of my mom's melt-in-your-mouth Thanksgiving rolls. The buttery dough is rising on the counter, warm and cozy. (Check out my piecrust tutorial here.)
For today, lovely readers, I wanted to tell you about another recipe contest that one of you out there needs to win. Johnsonville Sausage is hosting a recipe contest and all you need to do is come up with an original recipe using Johnsonville Sausage as an ingredient. Somebody please win the $10,000 to fulfill their culinary dream. My culinary dream is to put in an outdoor kitchen on the back patio complete with a fireplace, grill, and sink. What's your culinary dream, readers? A trip to Italy? A year's tuition at cooking school? A new up-to-date kitchen? Catered holiday parties for a year? All of the above, please and throw in a few new sets of dishes while you're at it. I didn't know I was so greedy, but if you open the gates, expect a flood. Leave me a comment and tell me your culinary dream (or dreams!) before midnight tonight and four wide-eyed winners will get a free pound of Johnsonville sausage on me. Winners will be chosen at random. Be back tomorrow with the Thanksgiving rolls...

My culinary dream is to move next door to my sister and pay her to keep me and my family fed.
She is a master cook and makes everything fun.
That's my big foodie dream. :)
Well that and sometimes I dream of opening a food truck with her and homeschooling while driving the truck around town. Do you think it can be done? haha
Love, H

Can't wait to see your roll recipe. Sounds like a great contest too.

The culinary dream I've had since a kid was to open a bakery. A little thing tucked away somewhere that only those in the know could find. And there would be big smushy couches to relax upon and mismatched teacups and a stray dog that would wander by at the same time every day to feast on the discarded treats. Oh, it's a magical place, this place in my head.

I'd love to eat my way around Europe for a month. I think I could do it on 10 grand.

But I'm way more practical than that. I'd get some super food storage stuff: gourmet MREs, wheat grinder, food dehydrator, pressure canner, and more cookbooks!

My culinary dream is to open 31 flavors of gravy, you know like Baskin and Robbins. You belly up to the bar where you are given mash potatoes and a meat of your choice. At which point they pull out the gravy list 31 different flavors to choose from. Yep thats my dream. And to make it even better we would provide a little forklift to come and lift you out of your seat and move you to the front seat of your car.Brilliant!

My dream would have to be to have a private chef for my family. Then all the cooking I would do would just be for fun, and not because there's a small child at my ankles, wondering what's for dinner.

My culinary dream is to master the art of homemade bread making. I'm not very good but love the smell and taste of homemade bread.

My dream would be to have a personal chef. Not to take over cooking for me, but to teach me, my Hubby, and my kiddos how to cook. You know, good old fashioned hands on learning? Well, maybe hands on learning on weekends only, and they can do the busy weekday cooking. :)

That or Heidi' sounds pretty darn great! ;)

I would love to take a food tour of the US and then come home to a new dream kitchen...with 2 ovens, a quiet dishwasher, refrigerator doors, and lots of space!

6 months ago I would have said a remodeled kitchen but my kids gave that to me for Mommy Day.. but the one thing I always wanted and didn't get in my new kitchen was a brick oven.. one that I could bake my bread and pizza in.. and not a gas one but one that uses real wood.. Makes me drool thinking about it.. yum

I'm sad I missed this. I'd love the backyard kitchen, the remodeled kitchen, the cooking school in Italy (especially if you come, too), or Adreinne's plan of eating my way around Europe for a month! I'm not picky-- I am happy to spend $10,000 ten different ways related to food:)
