The calendar boldly asserts that summer will officially be ending next week. Mother Nature, at least here in the Southwest, is stubbornly ignoring this suggestion, as temperatures here continue to hover around the 90s. No matter. There's plenty of great food to squeeze in before it's time to heft around sugar pumpkins and bottles of maple syrup.
